Howdy Campers!
Barking Cat Studio’s Art in the City Summer Camp is Art and Adventure for kids ages 6 (entering First Grade) through 14.
8 creative weeks: July 6 - August 28, 2026.
Campers are in store for a fun-filled creative summer at Barking Cat Studio. Our fun and creative instructors lead our small group of art campers (just eight campers each week) as they travel by NYC subway and bus to explore art museums and other fun places around our wonderful city inspiring our studio art projects.
Kids can look forward to a week packed with fun trips, activities and cool art projects.

Week 5: August 3 – August 7 (Age 7+) Harry Potter Wizard Week – Sorry, this week has filled. Wait list only.

Typical Camp Day
8:00am-8:45am Early drop-off
8:45am-9:15 Arrival & daily drawing challenge
9:30am-12:00pm Morning Adventure and outing to museums & other fun places around our city
12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch
Travel back to Studio for Daily Art Project
1:00pm-2:45pm Studio Art Project
2:45pm-3:00pm Choice Time & Dismissal
3:00-5:00pm Extended Day - Playground Time & Afternoon Art Classes
Camp Details
Camp Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday–Friday.
Early Drop-Off and Extended Day available.
Lunches outdoors, weather permitting.
Early Drop Off 8:00am - 8:45am $25 per day.
Extended Day 3:00 - 5:00pm $260/4 days (Monday-Thursday) with advance registration or $68 per single day.

No extended day on Friday.
Camp Fees: $50 non-refundable registration fee plus $850 all camp weeks except week 8, camp fee is $890 and includes a digital camera to keep.
